How far in advance can I place an order? 
I will book ahead at a maximum of 3 months, no more. 

What is the shelf life of your cookies? 
I seal all of my cookies in individual cellophane bags (unless otherwise requested) which not only makes them easy to use as party favors, keeps germs off them and looks great but helps keep them tasting great 2-3 weeks at room temperature! Decoration deterioration such as color bleed may happen at 2-3 weeks. They also freeze really well and can last 3-4 months in the freezer. Many clients freeze and enjoy at their pleasure! Freezing instructions are as follows: Place sealed cookies in an airtight Tupperware container and place in freezer. To thaw, take container out and leave on counter at room temperature, STILL in Tupperware container, for two hours. Then enjoy!

Do I have to have them in bags and if I don't, does it affect the price? 
If you would like to insist on them not being bagged, that is completely up to you, though I do not recommend it because I can then no longer guarantee their freshness at any amount of time. My sugar cookies are a soft yet stable cookie that are very sensitive to moisture and something as slight as a weather, the humidity in your house, etc. could affect them. The price remains the same due to more packing supplies needed to pack them, so the decorations remain intact. 

I don't need them until tomorrow, how should I store them?

Leave them in a cool room temperature, dry place. Do not refrigerate. Do not leave in a hot car or freezing car. Do not expose to sun, heat, moisture or sneaky little hands!

 

How much time is absolutely necessary for a last-minute order?

7 days minimum. The process of making dough, baking and decorating takes up to 7 days. IF I am able to accommodate a last-minute order, there may be a rush fee. 

 

Can you ship orders?

At this time, I am not offering shipping though I hope to update that soon! You are more than welcome to pick up as normal and ship them yourself, which many people have done with success. Just do a search for how to properly ship decorated sugar cookies on the internet, you will find some great tips!

 

Where are you located? / Where do I pick up?

I operate as a home baker under Ohio's cottage bakery laws. Pick up is at my home in North Olmsted, Ohio. More specific info is given when an order is made. 

 

Why are there extra cookies in my order sometimes?

I make a couple extra in case I make a boo boo. Sometimes if there is no boo boo, I will include the cookies as an extra. 

 

Can you accommodate gluten free or allergy orders?

My home is not a gluten free or food allergen free home, therefore I do not offer allergy friendly recipe versions of my sugar cookies. Though I am very careful, I cannot guarantee no cross contamination and make no promises as to whether these products are safe for those with food allergies to eat.
